SBL34 high-low basket filter
I. Product Introduction:
Basket strainers are used for filtering large particles from gases or other media. When installed on pipelines, they can remove large solid impurities from the fluid, making the fluid purer and enabling normal operation of machinery (including compressors, pumps, etc.) and instruments, thus stabilizing the process and ensuring safe production. The main filter materials include stainless steel perforated plates, stainless steel woven meshes, and stainless steel sintered meshes. After a period of use, open the upper cover to take out the basket-shaped filter screen; it can be restored to new condition simply by washing. It has advantages such as large dirt holding capacity, high pressure resistance, and convenient installation and cleaning. It is widely used in industries such as petroleum, chemical engineering, pharmaceuticals, and food processing.
II. Scope of Application:
The applicable materials for SBL34 high-low basket strainers are:
1. Weakly corrosive materials in chemical and petrochemical production, such as water, oil products, ammonia, hydrocarbons, etc.
2. Corrosive materials in chemical production, such as caustic soda, soda ash, concentrated and dilute sulfuric acid, carbonic acid, aldehydes, acids, etc.
3. Low-temperature materials in refrigeration, such as liquid methane, liquid ammonia, liquid oxygen, and various refrigerants.
4. Materials with hygiene requirements in food and pharmaceutical production, such as beer, beverages, dairy products, syrups, etc.
Maintenance Instructions for SBL34 High-Low Basket Strainers:
1. The core component of the strainer is the filter element, which consists of the strainer frame and a stainless steel wire mesh. The stainless steel wire mesh is a consumable part and requires special protection.
2. After the strainer has been in operation for a period of time, a certain amount of impurities will settle inside the filter element. At this point, the pressure drop increases and the flow rate decreases, so it is necessary to promptly remove the impurities from the filter element.
3. When cleaning impurities, special attention must be paid to ensuring that the stainless steel wire mesh on the filter element does not deform or get damaged. Otherwise, after reinstalling the strainer, the purity of the filtered medium will fail to meet the design requirements, and equipment such as compressors, pumps, and instruments will be damaged.
4. If deformation or damage of the stainless steel wire mesh is found, it must be replaced immediately.
